“Chandni Chowk To China” is more of a combo of a Bollywood `Kung Fu Panda’, and `Karate Kid’, than an thrilling transcontinental journey. For director Nikhil Advani, it could have been the chance to change things around after his forgetful disastrous outing with `Salaam-e-Ishq’. And for the producers Warner Bros, a signal to lift up its India plans, as well open doors to other American studios. But to the dismay of all, this movie could not stand a foot in the multiplexes and in theaters due to its worse story mix. Neither of the hero or heroine looked decent onscreen. Akshay Kumar was on the verge of breaking limits of his hype in the bollywood. But this movie surely has hampered his ambition. So as Deepika who is just making a name for herself in the industry.

Right in the beginning, someone asks Sidhu(Akshay Kumar) : are you stupid? He nods. That said the whole story of Sidhu. He is grown up kid brought up in the streets of Delhi. He lives in Chandni Chowk, flakes off potatoes for a dwelling, and prays to Ganapati Bappa to release him from his day-to-day grind. In his eagerness to prove that he can better off than being just a clown, he goes to China alongside his Guruji(Ranbir Shorey). And then he found himself in condition what he dreamt of. There has hardly been some situation where the actress Deepika got to act other than just dressing up in a Mandrin collars and fight like a wild cat(as the bad girl of the villain Hojo) and shed some tears as a good girl. What happens in China is the climax of the movie.

Music of the movie has not of great order. It has hardly broken in top 10 list. In spite of great hopes after good publicity, the movie has demise the hopes of the viewers.

Dev D Movie’s Review and MP3 Songs!

One of the most interesting copied movies that got released this year is the movie directed by Anurag Kashyap titled “Dev D”. This is truly the remake of the movie Devdas in new senses. There was nothing more than that in that movie. But that movie looked so good in the theaters that it took lot of hearts beat out in a new way. Although the movie did not do a great deal till this time, it almost had all elements of entertainment in it.

Dev(Abhoy Deol) is a new generation kid brought up in posh area in a foreign country. His childhood sweet-heart Paro(Mahi Gill) had all the requirements that could have filled in his heart. They always kept their contact in stead of long distances. And finally when Dev got the hard news for her marriage with another guy, he ran up here in India to meet with her. But some jealous pique and some misunderstanding between themselves made Dev to turn her down. But unlike Indian women, she turned her back to him and went on to marry the guy whom his father choose to. When Dev came to know about the true story of their fuss, he got annoyed with himself. But he could hardly do anything about that as it was too late for him to stop things. So he went on in the path that most heart-broken men do, physical and mental degradation. There he found Chanda(Kalki Koechiln), a traumatized school girl whose MMS clip spoiled her life making her a sex-worker. That moment of time Dev was undecided what to do next as found himself feeling for both of them. And what he does later is the movie all about.

The music of the movie is excellent. Some sad version tracks were simply superb and are still on the best list of the TV shows. But there were also some tracks where people would stand up and start dancing. Over all the movie is a nice entertainment package.

KIDNAP Movie’s Review and Songs

One of the blunders of the last year in the bollywood film industry was the movie titled “Kidnap”. This was the second movie of the actor Imran Khan who happens to be the nephew of the legendary actor Aamir Khan. Imran made himself a good status after his debut movie “Jaane tu.. Ya Jane na”. His acting was just the kind what was necessary for the movie. And he pulled that off quite beautifully. But this film was a total flop partly because he was not up to the mark and majorly because of the script. Minisha Lamba tried to show as much as was permitted in the bollywood movies. But still that made no difference to the response to this movie.

The movie is about an orphan who was screwed in his childhood by a powerful businessman owing to the fact that he tried to steal a car from their home to save his friend who was in danger.  He was then sentenced to jail for more than several which was totally injustice with his crime he committed under the trying conditions. When he got out of the jail, he was determined to take the revenge of his life from the businessman by hurting their life with the kidnap of their only daughter. The businessman was instructed not to track him down by the young man because he was in no mood to set free their daughter. He used to give him some puzzles by means of what he made him to contact each and every person who was affected by the descision that he took a long back. And finally when the businessman came to know all these, he could not stop him bursting with anger on himself. What the businessman does to save his daughter is the climax of the movie.

The music of the movie has not been so touchy as was in the case of Imraan’s last outing. But the screenplay of these songs were good. Hopefully the music is good to bear this long enough bollywood movie.
